As neurofeedback clinicians, we see cases that alter our perception of expected outcomes and challenge our ability to think outside of the box. This mentoring webinar presents two cases that demonstrate the complexity of those we are asked to help. Each of these cases has had multiple EEG and qEEG studies and neurofeedback sessions. Their data comes from two different neurofeedback practices and reinforces the importance of collaboration within our field.

Participants will learn:

1. How to explain the connection between extreme negative behavior and abnormal EEG and qEEG findings.
   2. Be able to list the different blood and urinalysis abnormalities that commonly cause psychiatric issues.
   3. Learn to recognize when to refer and when to collaborate on challenging cases.
   4. Receive guidance on how to document progression of treatment.
   5. List the four EEG biomarkers identified in refractory psychiatric patients.
   6. Explain why EEG should be routine in those that have failed multiple medication trails.
