Attendees will be able to:

• Understand the importance of a comprehensive assessment that includes as many objective measures as possible.
• Develop knowledge of how biofeedback modalities can help identify specific patterns or biomarkers that can inform an assessment, guide training and other interventions, track progress and determine when training is complete.
• Identify the problems inherent in symptom-based assessment and diagnosis without the benefit of objective measures.
• Become sensitive to the bias inherent in the identification of ADHD in children and adults and learn to differentiate correct from incorrect diagnoses using appropriate screening tools.
• Learn to identify some of the indicators that differentiate anxiety from depression.
• Become advocates for improved attention to and emphasis on sleep as a therapeutic tool for multiple behavioral change approaches.
