Description: Concussion injury is a widespread problem which affects individuals on many levels, resulting in physiological, psychological, and social pains.  However, concussion often goes undetected as a seemingly invisible or illusory injury, leaving the concussed person questioning the reality of their injury and if they will ever improve.  The field of neurotherapy offers validation and solutions by directly targeting the affected organ – the brain – in the assessment and treatment process.  In this presentation, we will cover the nature of concussion injury, recovery and a neurotherapeutic approach to working with individuals managing concussion injuries.
